Plant Power
Nature weaves its magic through all things in the natural world and nowhere more so than in the plants and vegetation that bless our blue planet. From the roots to the tips, from the leaves to the flowers, from the fruits and nuts from the bark and the saps comes materials with remarkable properties and uses. For millennia humans and their ancestors and relatives have used plants for nourishment, for flavour, for decoration, for scent, for healing and treatment, for colouring and for tools. Many drugs used today have their history in natural extracts from plants and so much more is being constantly discovered through research and sometime accident.
Remarkably many of the useful benefits obtainable from plants last for many years after the plants have been harvested and dried and it is this basic combination of usefulness and longevity that makes plants the most powerful source of goodness and usefulness upon which JFS has built its wonderful business.
