Our Roots
Joseph Flach came to London from Germany in the 1880s and in 1882 he set up his business importing and wholesaling botanicals. Joseph Flach & Sons Limited (JFS) was incorporated in 1927.
Since inception JFS has survived many serious economic recessions and countless changes in fashion, need and trading habits. Today we remain a successful and vibrant family business, trading across the world in botanical products and related merchandise.
We have customers on six continents, many of whom have worked in partnership with us for many, many decades and we constantly receive new enquires from all around the world.
Our long strong roots also connect us to a robust and extensive supply chain with many suppliers who have, like our customers, been with us for decades.

GIVING BACK
Each year all our staff can nominate a charity of their choice and JFS donates to them on the team’s behalf.
We support The Peterborough Soup Kitchen. We support various projects through Power For The People, this has included helping to fund a solar powered water well system in a Kenyan village with no robust water supply
