How is it used?

Caraway seed is commonly used ground in cooking. This versatile spice has become a permanent fixture in Asian and European cuisine, being found in everything from rye bread to cheese, pastries and dishes like stews and curries. Occasionally, it’s added to alcoholic beverages for a distinctive taste.

Culinary uses aside, caraway seed is widely used in herbal medicine too. Commonly taken in herbal teas, caraway seed is believed to aid in the treatment of bloating and indigestion.
