Visit MimeaOn the 24th of this month (October), it is International Scottish Gin day, where we will be a part of celebrating all things Scottish Gin.
Established by The Gin Cooperative, the day brings together Scotland’s Scottish Gin makers and brands, whose Scottish Gins are distilled, rectified or cold compounded in Scotland and a selection of global bars, retailers and gin drinkers, to celebrate the story of Scottish Gin.
There is such a variety of distilleries working to tingle your taste buds and gin cravings across Scotland, it is only fitting that we celebrate their efforts and their Gin!
The day will play host to a wide range of retailers and bars, including some of the world’s best bars and the wider gin community, which includes the official ISGD Scottish Gin brands, to collaborate on a range of events. From gin festivals and food & Gin pairings, to meet the maker tastings and exclusive ISGD cocktails, there will be numerous international opportunities for you to discover Scottish Gin (all socially distanced of course and within all applicable health guidelines).
The Gin Cooperative was founded to share the story of Scottish Gin with a global audience through a programme of events and collaborations with several international participants.
If you want to be part of the day, there is plenty of ways to be involved. Head over to the events section of the ISGD website to find online and offline events you can get involved in.
You can also host your own event (it is free!) if that tickles your whistle.
Supporting local and international distilleries with botanicals has been part of what we do for almost 140 years. Sponsoring events like this allows us to provide some support to what is a fantastic commercial and social activity to boot. Supplying some of the best Gins out there is an absolute joy to be part of. It makes us very proud.
If you are interested in working with us, do let us know. You can contact us today right here, on our website.
