    Foxglove Herb Cut

    Digitalis purpurea

    Form: Cut

    Product description

Foxglove (or digitalis) comes from the Plantaginaceae family and is native to Europe, North West Africa and Western Asia. They are commonly grown in gardens and come in a variety of colours.  The parts that grow above the ground are used for medicine, such as digoxin.

    Health benefits of Foxglove Herb

Foxglove is said to be used as a treatment for heart problems, such as congestive heart failure and irregular heartbeats. Blood flow can be increased when someone takes digitalis which can potentially reduce swelling. The leaves from the plant are traditionally dried and then brewed to make medicine in Native American cultures.
