Acriflavine (ACF) was created in 1912 by Paul Ehrlich, a German medical researcher, and was used to treat sleeping sickness during World War I. ACF contains antiviral, antibacterial, and trypanocidal properties.
Topical antiseptic
Acriflavine is used to treat microbial infections as well as skin and fungal infections. It can also help with burns and minor wounds.
