Catnip Herb Powder

Catnip herb powder is a finely ground product made from dried catnip leaves and stems, exhibiting a greenish-brown colour and a fine, powdery texture. It has a minty, slightly citrusy aroma and a mild, herbaceous taste. Catnip is commonly found in temperate regions of Europe, North America, and Asia. The herb contains volatile oils, nepetalactone, and iridoids as well as rosmarinic acid. Catnip powder is used traditionally in herbal remedies for its believed calming and digestive properties, often included in teas and supplements, and as a stimulant for cats. The oil has been used as an insect repellent and some believe catnip to have hallucinogenic properties.
