Chaparral leaf powder is a finely ground product made from dried chaparral leaves, featuring a greenish-brown colour and a fine, powdery texture. It has a strong, resinous aroma and a bitter taste. Chaparral, also known as Creosote Bush is typically found in arid regions of the southwestern United States and Mexico and belongs to the Zygophyllaceae family. The leaves contain lignans, volatile oils, flavonoids, and triterpenes.
