Once known as one of Britain’s magical healing trees, it was thought that passing beneath the Ash tree would heal snake bites and other ailments. Now, it's leaves and bark are best known for their nutritional offering to small and domestic animals.

Commonly used as a feast for domestic animals
Both domestic (cows and goats) and wild (rabbits) animals like to eat leaves and branches of the ash tree. Ash trees produce a substance that is similar to olive oil.
