Blessed thistle herb powder is a finely ground product made from dried blessed thistle, with a yellowish-green colour and a fine, powdery texture. It has a mild, bitter aroma and taste. Blessed thistle is typically found in Mediterranean climates and is in the Asteraceae family. It has yellow flowers and thistle like leaves The powder contains sesquiterpene lactones, tannins, and flavonoids. Known also as holy thistle, it is used primarily in herbal remedies for its believed digestive and lactation-supporting properties, often included in teas, tinctures, and capsules. It is also used in alcoholic drink production.
