    Bryony White Root Whole

    Bryonia alba

    Form: Whole

    Product description

Bryony white root whole consists of the dried, whole roots of the bryony plant, featuring a pale, yellowish-white colour and a rough, gnarled texture. It has a slightly earthy aroma and a bitter taste. Bryony is commonly found in Europe and Asia, particularly in hedgerows and woodland areas. It is part of the Cucurbitacae family. The root contains cucurbitacins, triterpenes and fatty acids. Bryony white root is traditionally used in herbal remedies for its believed purgative and diuretic properties, although it should be used with caution due to its potent effects. It is classed as a Poison and should be used in small doses by professionals.

As with any food product or herbal supplement, it is advisable to seek professional advice before newly incorporating into one’s routine or into a new product, especially for individuals who are susceptible to allergies, have other dietary issues, weakened immune systems or other health complications.
