Product description
Cherry wild bark rough cut consists of the dried, chopped bark of wild cherry trees, displaying a reddish-brown colour and a rough, fibrous texture. It has a sweet, woody aroma and a slightly bitter, astringent taste. Wild cherry trees are commonly found in North America and Canada and are part of the Rosaceae family. The bark contains cyanogenic glycosides, tannins, and benzaldehyde. Rough cut wild cherry bark is used in traditional remedies for its believed soothing and cough-relieving properties, often included in teas, syrups, and tinctures.
