Product description
Condurango bark cut consists of the dried, chopped bark of the cundurango plant, displaying a reddish-brown colour and a coarse, fibrous texture. It has a mildly sweet, earthy aroma and a bitter taste. Condurango is native to the Andean regions of South America, particularly in Ecuador and Peru and comes from the Asclepiadaceae family. The bark contains alkaloids, glycosides, and resins. Cut condurango bark is used in traditional herbal remedies for its believed digestive and appetite-stimulating properties, often included in teas, tinctures, and digestive bitters.
