Product description
Cocoa butter is a pale yellow, solid fat with a smooth, creamy texture and a mild, chocolate-like aroma and taste. It is derived from cocoa beans grown in tropical regions, particularly in West Africa and South America. The butter contains triglycerides, fatty acids, and antioxidants. Cocoa butter BP (British Pharmacopoeia) is used in a variety of applications, including cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, lubricants, and confectionery, for its moisturizing and emollient properties. When Coca butter is extracted from the beans, the leftover solids are sold as Cocoa Powder.
