Product description
Cocoa powder is a fine, dark brown powder with a smooth texture, made from the dried and ground cocoa solids remaining after extracting cocoa butter from roasted cocoa beans. It has a rich, chocolatey aroma and a slightly bitter taste. Cocoa beans are typically grown in tropical regions, particularly in West Africa and South America. The powder contains flavonoids, theobromine, catechins and caffeine. Cocoa powder is used in culinary applications, such as baking, beverages, and confectionery, as well as in cosmetics and dietary products for its flavour and antioxidant properties.
