Product description
Dragons blood powder, also know as dracorubin, is a fine, red powder derived from the resin of various species of the Dracaena and Daemonorops plants. It has a strong, earthy aroma and a slightly bitter taste and is part of the Palmae family. Dragons blood resin is commonly found in tropical regions of Southeast Asia, Africa, and the Canary Islands. The powder contains flavonoids, saponins, and tannins. Dragons blood powder is used in traditional herbal remedies for its wound-healing and anti-inflammatory properties, as well as for treating diarrhoea, often included in ointments and tinctures. It has also been used as a colouring agent and in incense.
