Cascarilla Bark (Croton elutaria) comes from a small shrub that’s native to the Caribbean. Cascarilla bark contains between 1% and 3% volatile oils, including a unique blend of cascarillins, lignins, tannins and resins. How is it used?
Used in tincture form, the bark is ideal for creating a strongly brewed infusion. It has a strong peppery aroma with a hint of cinnamon.
