Rhassoul clay, also known as ghassoul clay, is a fine, reddish-brown powder with a silky texture, composed primarily of silica, magnesium, potassium, and other natural minerals. It is odorless and tasteless. This mineral-rich clay is found exclusively in deposits within the Atlas Mountains of Morocco, where it has been traditionally used for centuries in skincare and haircare rituals. Rhassoul clay contains hydrated aluminum silicate along with trace elements such as iron and calcium. It is widely used in cosmetic and therapeutic applications for its cleansing, absorbent, and conditioning properties, commonly incorporated into face masks, body wraps, shampoos, and soaps.
